Randomness

I think I am getting sick again. I spend one hour at school and go to the football game and now I have a sore throat and earache. I just had this mess a month ago. Plus, I am on my second day of a migraine.

I have discovered that Squirrel will no longer tolerate formula of any kind. I gave her two ounces a few days ago, and she ejected it like a pilot from a burning fighter plane. I also broke down and bought a new pack of bibs, bringing my total to about 34. I wonder if that will be enough.

Squirrel will join Monkey at daycare Monday. I have warned them about her reflux, but I am almost certain they have no idea what is coming their way. She will be there from about 7:30 am to about 3:30 pm. I plan to pack 8 outfits, 12 bibs, and 6 burp cloths. I wonder if that will be enough.

DH has been much better about not playing his online game when Monkey is awake. That was the deal. He had to stay off it while she is up, but when she goes to bed, he can play. Sometimes he sneaks a session in before Squirrel and I get up, but Monkey is usually hanging off his back (literally) watching so its okay, as long as he gets off the game when we need him. He has, however, found a new addiction. Actually the addiction is not his, its Monkey's. DH dragged out the ancient Nintendo (and by ancient, I mean the first ever version) and showed Monkey how to play. Now the two of them disappear for hours into her bedroom playing ContraForce, Gauntlet, and lord knows what else. So, now I have to try to get them to regulate that too. At least he is playing with her, but we still need to remember Squirrel. He's pretty good about paying her attention lately.

I have submitted!!! Now, for those of you with dirty minds, get out of the gutter. I submitted 6 of my short stories to 7 different online magazines. It will take anywhere from 1-6 months to hear if any of those editors want to buy my stories. Keep your fingers crossed for me, please.

We took pictures of Squirrel wearing my band's t-shirt. She looks so cute. I put them on the band's website and named it "Our Youngest Fan". I love my kids!!
